Installation aftercare is extremely important and encouraged following the installation of any steel door or moveable wall. We believe that all clients should receive the most from their products for the foreseeable and through regular service and maintenance we can help to ensure they remain in the best condition thereby contributing to a longer working lifespan.

Due to product complexities and the requirement for trained technicians during their fitting phase, we always recommend having skilled operatives carry out the following service and maintenance programmes.

New Future Solutions is pleased to be able to offer a full servicing programme for any and all customers who require these services. We offer both ad-hoc services and bespoke servicing contracts to help support all possible requirements in relation to your products. Product dependent, our operatives will carry out a standardised service plan to ensure all the correct and relevant checks are made and a full cleaning process is carried out, leaving your doors in a prime and safe working condition.

Steel Door Servicing includes

Check overall condition of operating system.

Check all doors are still level – adjustments will be made if necessary.

Check over 3D hinges.

Check all fixings.

Check over all ironmongery.

Lubrication program over hinges.

Clean glazed units.

Moveable Wall Servicing includes

Check over panel alignment and acoustic seals.

Semi-automatic and fully automatic systems require further checks over the control box, motor and power supply.

Check over the head track fixings and track itself.

General clean of all external surfaces.

Check overall condition of operating system.

Chemical clean of the track.

Standard clean of the internal profile.

Check floor bolts and sockets for operation and alignment.

Check internal gearing and speed mechanisms.

Bespoke Servicing Contracts

As these products are used in both commercial and residential settings with frequent usage, we recommend that any moveable wall or steer door undergo a service at least once per year to ensure everything is working in order. Under our bespoke contracts, New Future can tailor a servicing programme to suit your specific requirements – we can comprise these contracts on an annual basis over a set period that you desire i.e. 2, 3 or 5 years. The number of services per year can be increased depending on usage and advice given by our specialist team.
